For that reason Mar y Sol Ediciones has decided to present you with a very special edition of "Punta del Este Internacional" devoted to a look back on the history of the resort so you can understand its present and view the future with a sense of responsibility. It's meant to be a homage to nature too. Everything that has happened in these lands has been, precisely, driven by the desire to enjoy this countryside which is so unique in its beauty and in its bounty. This year we will analyze the latest projects carried out in the city and the schemes that are set to improve the quality of life in the resort while preserving its natural beauty. We will take a tour of the best Punta del Este landscapes, the sophisticated hotel services and the gastronomy on offer. This time, "Punta del Este Internacional" will dedicate its pages to looking back at the history of this region which was always willing to embrace diversity. From the moment of its birth, it has accepted differences in religious and political matters to join them in a generous land that allows them to live together in an atmosphere of peace and harmony. We will then go over its history as a way of praising the region, paying homage to its founders. It's a way too of drawing attention to our successes and recalling mistakes we do not want to make again.
